I was approached to create a newer, fresh looking image to represent the Coachella Valley Teachers Association.
The common goal of the logo was to be round in shape but also showcase the need of education in the area. The challenge came in keeping the look clean but also adding multiple text in it.
I decided to surround the artwork with rounded shapes representing the surrounding Coachella Valley mountains, while holding the educational book in the middle. The rising sun representing morning light giving the students and teachers alike new opportunities to learn, reach goal setting activities and benchmarks for the day.
The design was approved and serves as the main graphic in marketing items and office supplies thru-out the school district.
